It is a clean, minimal, purple-themed graphic social media banner, serving as the official header for the "Metruvia Knowledge Base" (Metruvia and Metruvia Knowledge Base) Transport Fever mod brand on Mod.io. The banner is set against a solid, deep-violet-purple background with a rich saturation. In the upper-center, a white, simplified, and symmetrical game controller icon is positioned. Directly below this icon, in prominent, white, bold, sans-serif text, is the text "Metruvia Knowledge Base". Below that, in smaller, regular white text, is the tagline "Built by Players. Powered by Knowledge." Symmetrically framing the central text and icon, on the far left and far right sides, are two large, detailed, white game controllers, depicted from a top-down aerial perspective with colorful button inputs (yellow, blue, pink, and green) and analog sticks. Scattered across the remaining purple space are small, white line-art icons that reinforce the gaming and puzzle themes: several puzzle piece outlines, small pixel-art heart outlines, simple bullseye targets, and a single solid white circle (a "knowledge" point). The layout is balanced, professional, and easily recognizable as part of a gaming community and documentation resource. The art style is flat vector graphic. A small, stylized white compass needle icon, derived from the Metruvia brand mark, is visible over the left analog stick of the controller on the right, providing a cohesive brand identity. The text is sharp and legible.

What is the Metruvia Expansion Series?

The Metruvia Expansion Series also dubbed “Expansion X” is a professional collection of custom-designed Savegames for Transport Fever. These Savegames are built from the ground up to offer a high-quality, high-performance experience for players on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, as well as PC. Our primary goal is to provide a streamlined and optimized gameplay environment so you can build the ultimate transportation empire without the common frustrations of technical confusion, late-game lag, or software crashes.

By focusing on “Performance-First” design, the Metruvia Series bridges the gap between casual modding and professional simulation engineering. We understand that console players have historically been limited by hardware constraints, and our series is the direct answer to those challenges.

The Creators and the Community

This series is a collaborative project created by the professional duo SantiagoWRLD (DaJuan Lacey) and AureliaWRLD (Anita Lacey). With 22 years of combined digital expertise, the Duo collectively focuses on the technical aspects of savegame design, demographic balancing, creative vision, and the professional cover art that defines the brand identity.

None of this would be possible without key seed creators often credited upon release and our dedicated community, known globally as the Misfit Soldiers. Your support and engagement on Mod.io drive us to keep expanding the Metruvia universe, pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the Transport Fever 2 engine.

The Metruvia Technical Standard: The Metruvia IIT Rule

A cornerstone of our authority in the modding space is our commitment to performance stability. Every savegame in our series is engineered using the Metruvia IIT Standard. This means that city growth is meticulously capped to 800 units across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.

In simulation gaming, “Entity Overload” is the leading cause of crashes on consoles. When a city grows too large, the CPU must calculate thousands of individual pathfinding routes for every citizen and cargo unit. By implementing this strict cap, we ensure that the game remains fluid and responsive even after hundreds of in-game years. This standard allows the Misfit Soldiers to focus on building complex rail networks and beautiful scenery without worrying about the technical “ceiling” of their hardware.

A Guided Tour of the Metruvia Global Installments

The Metruvia Expansion Series currently features a diverse library of global installments. Each savegame offers a unique geographical challenge and requires a different strategic approach to logistics and infrastructure. Metruvia Series 1: Bay

The foundational savegame of the series, Metruvia Bay, is a masterclass in maritime and coastal logistics. This expansion features large bodies of water that force players to master ferry systems and bridge engineering. It is the perfect starting point for players who want to build a scenic, water-heavy transportation hub.

For those who crave verticality, the Canyon Expansion offers dramatic elevation changes. This map requires advanced rail engineering, including the use of tunnels and switchbacks, to navigate the rugged terrain. It is widely considered the most “scenic” map for high-altitude photography. Metruvia Series 2: Canyon

Our most technically focused release, the Japan Expansion, is optimized for high-speed rail (HSR) corridors. Inspired by real-world Japanese geography, this savegame features dense urban clusters and tight transit corridors, challenging players to move massive amounts of passengers with surgical precision. Metruvia Series 8: Japan

The South Africa Expansion brings a mix of coastal logistics and inland industrial challenges. It is designed for players who enjoy long-distance freight hauling across diverse climates and rugged landscapes. Metruvia Series 9: South Africa

Vast and unforgiving, the Australia Expansion focuses on the “Long Haul.” With massive distances between hubs, players must manage fuel efficiency and maintenance costs while connecting the outback to the coast. Metruvia Series 4: Australia

These European-inspired savegames focus on historic rail corridors and dense, pre-established town layouts. They offer a classic “Old World” feel, requiring players to navigate tight city streets and integrate modern transit into historic landscapes. Metruvia Series 5: Italy and Metruvia Series 6: United Kingdom

These savegames are built for scale. The North America Expansion offers wide-open spaces perfect for massive freight trains, while the Valley Expansion focuses on inter-city connectivity through lush, fertile plains. Metruvia Series 7: North America and Metruvia Series 3: Valley

Why the Misfit Soldiers Choose Metruvia

Players choose the Metruvia Expansion Series because they want a Plug-and-Play experience. Unlike standard mods that may require dozens of external dependencies, our savegames are self-contained and optimized. When you download a Metruvia savegame from Mod.io, you are getting a product that has been stress-tested for hours to ensure it meets our Professional-Grade certification.

We provide ongoing technical updates and Quality of Life patches for every savegame in the series. If a game update changes the way pathfinding works, the Duo is on the front lines, updating the savegames to ensure the Misfit Soldiers never lose progress on their empires.

Strategic Onboarding: How to Get Started

To begin your journey with the Metruvia Expansion Series, follow these three simple steps:

  1. Visit our Mod.io Hub: Search for Metruvia or follow creators SantiagoWRLD and AureliaWRLD.
  2. Select Your First Expansion: We recommend starting with Metruvia Bay for coastal play or Metruvia Japan for high-speed rail.
  3. Optimize Your Settings: Ensure your console is set to “Performance Mode” (if available) to get the most out of our Metruvia IIT optimization.

The Future of Metruvia.com

As we continue to grow, Metruvia.com will serve as the central archive for all things related to the expansion series. We are committed to providing the community with detailed dev logs, optimization guides, and early looks at upcoming savegame releases. The Metruvia Expansion Series is more than just a mod—it is a commitment to the future of console simulation gaming.

By maintaining these high standards of engineering and creative vision, DaJuan and Anita Lacey ensure that the Misfit Soldiers will always have a high-performance canvas on which to build their dreams. Want to see our Metruvia WRLD Cover Art Policy?
