Trip Completed from Metruvia verifies that a specific train run has reached its final stop and is therefore inactive.

Completed Clarity

It is used to give users instantaneous clarity to prevent waiting for a completed run: the card shows a completed badge, the next-stop line disappears, and times grey out. It also allows the app to stop background polling for that run, therefore pruning unnecessary requests and sparing server load and battery. Meanwhile at that exact point, analytics are finished (the terminal actual arrival is stamped) so that on-time performance and dwell metrics stay accurate. Finally, it keeps the UI tidy by disabling actions for that run and shifting focus to the next incoming trip.
